EBCC conferences are held triennially, gathering researchers and conservationists engaged in bird monitoring, research, and conservation from Europe and beyond. Talks at the conference encompass a wide array, including outcomes from recent bird monitoring initiatives, waterbird counts, and atlases. Additionally, the conference topics include investigations on the drivers of population change, demographics, and distribution patterns among European bird species. The effectiveness of conservation measures and governmental policies, advancements in technology, methodologies, and analytical approaches, the utilisation of birds as environmental indicators, and the evolution of citizen science initiatives are also featured.
